Geeks New England

Recently I had the pleasure of working with the folks from Geeks New England. GNE is a high-quality blog and very entertaining live-play podcast. In the last episode, GNE played through one of our Haunted Encounters in their “The Secrets of the Lionheart Inn” episode.

Legends from Aeramis is a D&D actual play podcast, run using the fifth edition ruleset for Dungeons and Dragons.  Join Camden, the blood hunter whose hands are always hidden within gauntlets of steel, Leander, the “lawful evil” cleric with a likely unhealthy obsession with death, Talia, the ranger with a painful past and her alcohol-loving wolf Nova, and Evathon, the wild-child druid who only has only recently attempted to rejoin society.  These heroes travel across the land of Aeramis, seeking coin and working to protect the world from the newly re-emerged self-christened “Black King.”  Legends from Aeramis is available on iTunes and YouTube, and on geeksnewengland.org.  Go Like their Facebook page for information pertaining to episode releases.

Decrease Your Prep Time with New Products from Limitless Adventures

Underdark Encounters – Ten D&D 5e random encounters set in the deadly subterranean realms of the Underdark. This is our second product through the Dungeon Master’s Guild. While the majority of our products will still be offered on our website, DM’s Guild allows us an opportunity to use monsters, places, and NPCs that are normally not available to us under the terms of the Open Game License, like the Underdark.

Arcane Quarter – this Limitless Location is comprised of ten places in the magic district of a city. Each location has a detailed NPC, hooks for further D&D adventures (30 total), and in the case of the shops, products for sale. The Arcane Quarter can be attached to an existing setting in your game world, or combined with other Limitless Locations to create a unique city.

Limitless Backgrounds: Acolyte – this new line of adventures is written to incorporate your players’ backgrounds as seeds for adventure. These quests will draw upon skills and tools gained by the character in the days before they became an adventurer.

New Products

Limitless Monsters – We’ve collected all the unique monsters we’ve written so far and placed them in one convenient package, and added three new ones that you haven’t seen yet. Eleven new monsters and NPCs, sure to vex, hex and be compatible with D&D Next.

The Curse of the Ice Mage – This short side quest takes 4 – 6 fifth level players to the small village of Goin’s Vale to deal with a strange curse that has summoned a fierce winter storm. This adventure has three combat encounters and a new 5e ice elemental.

The Journey to Mount Gellid – This side quest takes a party of level five adventurers on a trek up a frozen mountain in search of a dragon’s lair. This quest contains six encounters and a new magical item.

Dungeon Encounters for D&D 5e

We can all use some help crafting quest ideas from time to time. Limitless Adventures makes a DM’s job easier by offering quality 5e content at an affordable price (seriously, .99 – 1.99!).

The newest product is Dungeon Encounters, a series of 5e encounters that can be dropped into nearly any dungeon with little to no prep. There are ten encounters, 30 Further Adventure hooks, and a new cursed item. 10 DnD encounters for a $1.99 is a great deal.

Friendly Advice for My Fellow Bloggers

Lately I have been spending a great deal of my creative efforts on writing D&D quests for Limitless-Adventures.com. The sheer amount of work involved in creating original content, proofreading it, editing it, adding art, etc., is staggering. In an effort to help get our name out there I’ve been looking for quality bloggers to review our products, but nearly every blog I encounter has no means of contacting the writer(s) posted. If your wish is to be the Thomas Pynchon of the blog o’ sphere, then continue, as is my mysterious friend. However, know that by not listing an e-mail address on your page you’re closing yourself to possible collaboration, recognition, and even addition work.

Just my two coppers
